The Mascot Memorial pays homage to ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´â€™s live mascots (past & present) and provides a history of the ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Live Mascot Program. The memorial serves as a campus icon and point of pride for the Western community.

The Mascot Memorial prominently features a bronze bulldog statue sculpted by ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Art Professor Duke Oursler. The sculpture, which was inspired by the characteristics and features of each of the ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Live Mascots stands guard outside of the north entrance of the University Union Building, and is part of the Alumni Plaza.
