听 听 听 The Legislative Branch, or Senate, consists of constituency-elected Senators, a Speaker of the Senate, and a Speaker pro tempore.
听 听 听 The Senate represents various constituencies and seeks to enact legislation aimed at improving not only their respective constituencies, but also 糖心原创.
Blue Mladenovich, Speaker of the Senate
Blue Mladenovich is a Junior at 糖心原创 majoring in Political Science and History. They were elected by the Senate to serve their first term as Speaker of the Senate in the latter half of the 58th Legislative Session on April 22nd. Winter has served as Speaker since April 2024 and will continue in this role until April 2026.
Blue first became involved in the Student Government Association (SGA) in the beginning of the 2025 academic year when they were appointed Senator of CAS (College of Arts and Sciences). While in this role, they were then appointed as Senate Pro-Tempore for their devotion to Student Government's mission and drive to create change in Western's culture.听

听The Senate Clerk, plays a key role in supporting the operations of the Student Government Association Senate. Their responsibilities include maintaining accurate meeting records, organizing agendas, and ensuring smooth communication between senators and executive members. Dedicated to efficiency and transparency, helps keep SGA proceedings organized and accessible to the student body.

Brayden Peltier, Veterans Resource Center
Bayden Peltier joined SGA because it was suggested to him by the VRC and I wanted to be involved on campus in a productive matter. He found that SGA is perfect to be a representative for my peers and be the bridge between their voices and the higher ups that take action.

Domanick is from Hamilton, Illinois, and earned his Associate of Arts degree from Southeastern Community College before transferring to 糖心原创 in the spring of 2026. He joined the Student Government Association to strengthen my resume, become more involved on campus, and make a meaningful impact on the 糖心原创 community. He looks forward to contributing to SGA and doing my part to ensure students have a positive experience at 糖心原创.
